Sussex 100 The location is the South of England Showground at Ardingly which is in a central location, close to the borders of both counties. We are looking forward to having a three thousand young people enjoying themselves over the weekend sleeping over in tents for the three nights, looked after by their leaders. The camp theme for the event is the Jungle Book with young people and adults grouped together in sub-camps based on an animal from the stories. Will you be a panther from the Bagherra sub-camp or maybe even a peacock from the Mao sub-camp? What will be there? Organisation is well under way with the attractions still being finalised. However plans include activities such as climbing, zip wires, inflatables, shooting, crafts, caving and side shows with hopefully a giant fireworks display on one of the evenings. Who can come? Any young person who has been invested as a Cub Scout by the 1st July 2016 and has not yet turned 11 by the weekend of the event. Leaders from Cub Packs belonging to Scout Groups in West and East Sussex have been busy registering their Packs for this great event and the great news is that the event is now fully booked. This means however that unfortunately we are not able to take any more young people over and above those numbers that have been submitted. Booking for this event has now closed.
