On Wednesday 20th January, Bob Blackman, MP for Harrow East, introduced Cubs100 in Prime Minster's Questions:

“Scouting goes from strength to strength in my constituency and this year we are fortunate to be celebrating 100 years of Cub Scouts. Would the Prime Minister join me in welcoming the Centenary of Cub Scouting alongside 150,000 girls and boys across the UK who are part of this life-changing experience, and urge more adults to volunteer for organisations like the Scouts to ensure that even more young people can join this life changing adventure?”

The cenetenary is then celebrated by Prime Minister David Cameron.
